The Academy for Spiritual Formation provides a space and a community where we listen for God. This listening comes to us in times of silence and reflection, worship, the teaching by faculty presenters, and conversations in listening circles.
The 2023 theme, The Healing Practice of Celebration, prepares us to re-learn the practice of celebration and to lean into the power of the Holy Spirit in our work to resist evil. In rest, release, and renewal we are empowered and energized to collaborate, to step together on stepping stones created from small things that bring us to a new place...a place of permission to celebrate and to move on, even through the pain and delight we may experience along the way. The healing practice of celebration helps us on the path toward wholeness and healing and to seek God's preferred future for all God's people.
